The company agent
The company agent knows the whole operation: cases, quotes, orders, parts, storage locations, machines, personnel, tenders and how to use secondFactory. Every employee gets answers – but only from what their role is allowed to see, with sources and the next step.
- Ask a questionin the header or directly on the case, order, part
- Check rolepermission first, then the data
- Read dataread-only, from the operation’s data
- Answer with evidenceSources, missing information, next step
- Continue workingLink directly to the right page
Not a general-purpose chatbot: the answers are derived from the operation’s data.
Today, every question costs a phone call or a search.
Where is the part? What is missing on the case? Who is in today? Which machine is free? The answers are scattered across many lists, pages and people’s heads – and whoever asks often interrupts a colleague.
- Calling or looking for colleagues to clarify simple questions
- Clicking through several lists and pages
- Piecing together the status of orders, parts and deliveries
- Being unsure which information you are allowed to see
- Ask how to use new features instead of reading up on them
What the module covers.
Knows the whole operation
Cases, quotes, orders, parts, storage locations, machines and CNC, personnel and time, logistics, quality and tenders – from one single source of truth.
Role-based answers
The agent only knows what the user is allowed to know – with the same permissions as everywhere else in secondFactory. Amounts, for example, only with finance permission; sensitive personnel data never.
Page context
When asked on a case, order, part or machine, it answers specifically about that item. Instead of guessing, it offers ambiguous matches as a choice; time references and typos are understood.
Answers with evidence
Every answer shows sources, missing information and the next step – with a link directly to the relevant page.
Operating help
“How do I create …?”, “What does … mean?”, “Why is the button grayed out?” – instructions for every page of the interface, matched to the role.
Local and data-minimizing
A local language model helps classify an unclear question only on request – it receives no operational data. Logging is done without the question text.
From question to evidence-backed answer.
This is where your team reviews and decides.
secondFactory prepares. At these points, a person confirms, corrects or deliberately approves – nothing slips through unnoticed.
Choice instead of guessing
If a question is ambiguous, the agent offers matches to choose from – the employee makes the choice.
Permission before data
Without permission, nothing is loaded – not even whether an object exists. The agent never outputs sensitive personnel data.
Read-only
The agent reads; it changes nothing. Any attempt to write is aborted at the technical level.
What improves day to day.
Less searching
Answers from the operation in seconds, instead of clicking through lists and pages.
For every role
Management, office, sales, workshop, machine operators, drivers – everyone gets suitable starter questions and only their own data.
No fabrications
Answers are derived from the findings in the system. If something is not recorded, the agent says so openly.
What goes in. What comes out.
